Made from 55 gallon barrels. “Down The Slope” is 43″ wide and one of a kind. It has been painted, oxidized, and sealed. Weighs about 24 lbs.
All my pieces are created by starting with a rough idea, then the scene is drafted onto project paper. No two designs are identical as they are are all drawn by hand, and then cut freehand with a handheld plasma torch. I search for used 55 gallon barrels at different locations across Montana, most come from being discarded at lube shops, others are reclaimed from properties and land owners.
Each layer of my artwork is 55 gallon barrel material, no new sheet metal is used in my process. The only non-recycled material is the wrought iron frame the barrel material is welded to. The hanging hardware is a stainless steel horizontal cable making hanging easy! Please contact me with any questions and I can help out!
All artwork is shipped insured, wood crated to assure it arrives safely!
